One year ago, I received the call that Trenton had a tumor in his chest which lead to a 6 hour surgery, multiple days in PICU and weeks at home in recovery. Looking back, I thank god we made it. Trenton is healthy and doing well. We're still running tests on his thyroid but nothing that is life threatening.
One year ago, Brett was unemployed. We thought this was the end of the world. Funny how things are put into perspective. I guess we needed a reminder that things happen for a reason. He now loves his job and it is so much better for his stress level and for our family.
One year ago we weren't even thinking about adding to our family. Now here I am almost 7 months pregnant and awaiting the arrival of our baby girl, Tylee Lynn. Trenton is ecstatic to have a baby sister and I couldn't be happier. A couple more months and I'll be holding that sweet girl in my arms.
I wonder where we"ll be one year from now...

Brett and I have been married 8 years in July although he has been putting up with me for 10 years now. Trenton is 4 and makes us smile every day-usually several times. He's a very funny kid. We areexpecting the new addition, our baby girl, to arrive in July. What an exciting year this is going to be for us! Tucker, our Golden Retriver is 9 and Vatoo, our Siamese cat is 10.
