No fair!

Picture this...Trenton's in bed, lights out and Brett and I are enjoying The Biggest Loser when...

Trenton: MOM!!!
Me: What?
Trenton: I have to talk to you.
Me: (Walking into his room) What do you need?
Trenton: It's not fair!
Me: What's not fair?
Trenton: You won't even let my sister sleep in my room.
Me: Umm, well, I don't see how she could sleep in your room with you since she's still in my belly.
Trenton: Well, you let her sleep in your bed.
Me: Good night buddy.

Baby Girl!!

After our two unsucessful trips to Dr. Christensen's office to find out the gender, we decided to go to Fetal Fotos to give it a try. I must say that it was absolutely the best use of our money. During the ultrasound, (which we now have a s a DVD), we confirmed it's a girl, watched her move around like crazy, she yawned, stretched, waved at us, and sucked on her tongue. It was the neatest experience and Brett, Trenton and I were thrilled to see such an active baby. No wonder I feel her moving all the time.
Look at her knees pulled up against her tummy.

Look at those tootsies!
It's hard to tell but we know for sure she's a girl!

She looks good, has all her pieces and parts, and is very active. I can't believe before long we'll be holding her in our arms. Hopefully she stays put and doesn't arrive too quickly.

Trenton's fourth birthday party

Trenton's party was at Rafiki. What a great place. They took care of everything and the kids hada wonderful time!
Hopping along to wash their hands.
Miss Liz taking care of the organizing of the event.
Simon says...Kaity and Dylan were in the running and the winner is...Kaity!
Mollie and Debra.
The kids eating their snacks before running back out and playing.
Touch yournose ifyou can hear my voice you silly boy!
All of Trenton's cousins came as well as a few friends from school. The guests were Dylan, Kaity, Maxx, Chris, Kory, Conner, Debra, Brady, Jordan, William, Cameron, Makenna, Cole, Anne, Aunt Heidi & Dan, Aunt Heather, Aunt Mollie, Papa D, and Nana & Papa. Wow this boy is loved!
Super Mario birthday decorations.
Look at thatcool monkey cake.
Look at that BIG 4 yearold. He woke up on his birthday and said he was older, grew taller, got dressed all by himself and brushed his teeth. Now that he's 4 the rules have changed in an effort to have a more independent boy before the baby arrives. He seems to be enjoying it so far! Let's hope it lasts.
I love being the center of attention!
Cousin Kaity and Trenton.
Make a wish and blow out the candles buddy!

Birthday surprise!

Wow! Big Truck!
Look at me.
Papa D surprised Trenton and was able to make it to town to show off his new truck and take Trenton for a birthday ride. Papa D is officially a truck driver which means we arelucky to see him once a month. He loves it and Trenton was all smiles!

Albertson's field trip

Field trip to Albertson's to learn about sometimes and always foods.
The veggie search!
Learning about seafood. Look at that lobster.
Trenton holding the lobster claw.
There's ourdaring boy. He thought it was super cool!

Field trip to the Fire Station

I'd never taken a tour of the fire station before and I must say it was very neat. The background in this picture is a mural painted in the fireman's classroom. They were all so excited.
The famous fireman pole. He slid down once which was veryfun for the kids to see.

Our future fireman! While the other kids each got in the fire truck once (some not at all), Trenton sat in there 4 times and had lots of special attention due to his somewhat demanding requests.
Sitting in the back of the truck and learning from the Captain.

A fireman's tool box.
Don't be scared! It's a fireman in his mask.
The class learning from the firemen.
Trenton wearing the hat which he thoughtwas especially cool because it had a flashlight built in.
